We get this question all the time! It’s actually a straightforward system, and we try very hard to make it as fair, transparent and easy as possible. So let’s walk through the steps!

Step 1, get started.

First, fill out our application form and then make a $500 deposit. This deposit goes towards your final purchase price and locks in your space on our waiting list. We can accept gooddog, zelle or check for deposits. Please note gooddog is a free service if you use a bank transfer and uncheck the payment protection option.

Step 2, you’re official.

When we have your application and $500 deposit, we will add your name to our master wait list. This is the list we maintain that has every family, no matter which size, color or type of dog they prefer. But don’t worry! You won’t have to wait for every person ahead of you to get their puppy before you do. Some people want a very specific color/size combo, or may want to bring home a puppy at a certain time of year.

Step 3, a mommy gets pregnant.

When one of our females is confirmed pregnant, we put together a list for her litter. To do that, we send out an email to all the waiting families and announce the new litter, along with the expected colors, size, coat type and generation of the puppies.

We gather the responses and add all the interested parties to the list for that litter. That list goes in order of deposits received.

Step 4, pick your puppy.

Once the puppies are born we will give them temporary names and post photos on social media. We take lots of pictures and videos as they grow. We begin training and socialization at a very young age, and the families can watch them develop in real-time.

When the puppies are about four weeks old we have puppy visits! This can be done in person or via facetime. We will send all the families on the litter list a link to book their time slot to visit the puppies. It’s always fun! The puppies are adorable at this age.

After the puppy visits, each family gets to pick the puppy they want to take home! This is done in the order of deposits received. When it’s your turn, you can either pick a puppy or decide to wait for the next litter. We always have families that choose to wait based on the color or genders available, or just because life gets busy! You will never lose your place in line on the master list, even if you pass on a litter. In fact you will usually move up a few slots with each litter, as those ahead of you are matched with puppies.

Step 5, bring your puppy home!

After you are matched with your puppy you can continue to follow their development over social media. We are always available to answer any questions along the way. When the puppies are eight weeks old, it’s time to pick them up! We give our families pick up dates and you can choose the time that works best for you. The remaining balance can be paid anytime after you are matched with your puppy and we will also accept cash at pick up. All our puppies come with a 2 year health guarantee, their first shots, a thorough vet check, and goody bag with some useful items such as training treats, a metal comb, stuffed toy and a blanket that smells like their mama and littermates. We will always be available to answer any questions you may have, and we love to hear stories and see pictures of our puppies with their families as they grow.
